Wedding Boutonnieres
Wedding boutonnieres made with tropical flowers hold up very well - even on warm summer days. To create this boutonniere, you will need the following flower supplies, fresh flowers and products:
- 1 Red Anthurium flower
- Few Blades Bear Grass
- 2 Hypericum Berries
- Variegated Lily Grass
- Partial Stem Mini Myrtle
- Yellow Plastic Lacing Cord
- Green Stem Wrap
- 22 Gauge Florist Wire
- Aleene's Craft Glue
- Corsage Pins or Boutstix or Fitz EasyPin
Add a support wire to the stem of the anthurium and tape with stem wrap. Double over the Bear Grass and tape to the stem. Add the miniature myrtle and tape. Wind up the stem with variegated Lily Grass and wire or tape into place.
Use Craft Glue and attach two red berries to the stem and allow to dry. Roll up a ball of the yellow lacing and glue under the Anthurium bloom.
