flower corsage
This colorful flower corsage is a combination of roses, hydrangea florets and miniature carnations. I will warn you, however, that I rarely use hydrangeas in corsage work, as they wilt quickly. Better would be a flower such as a snapdragon floret, which would hold up better than the flower shown.
For this design, you'll need the following fresh flowers and florist supplies:
- 2 peach spray roses
- 4 blue hydrangea florets
- 2 yellow Mini Carnations
- 2 yellow Mini Carnation buds
- 2 green pittosporum leaves
- Green Stem Wrap
- 22 or 24 gauge florist Wire
- Crystal Clear Flower Food
- Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory
This corsage can be used as either a shoulder pin or a wrist corsage. Check out the tutorials for both the glued method and the wired method.
