I used the previous stem of alstroemeria as a massed flower in my fall table pumpkin centerpiece, and I'm going to do it again with this second stem.  

I'm tucking it right below the pumpkin's lid, on the other side of the sunflower (focal flower).

See how the focal flower still commands the spotlight.  Eyes are definitely drawn to it first.

Again, the natural curve of the alstroemeria is utilized and the flower heads are facing outwards from a side view.

I only had one stem of spray roses in a bright yellow in this fall mix of flowers.  I'm going to keep the impact of color by placing this as one flower in the center of the design rather than cutting them apart.

I tucked them beneath the head of the sunflower, right above the pumpkin lid.  Again, they are more noticed because of their mass and the location near the focal flower.
