This holder has nifty little "notches" that help hold ribbon or tape in place. This really isn't difficult, since the tape gets sticky and clings to itself when stretched.
Here's a closeup of how I wrapped the tape around the notch.
I pulled it taut and down to the handle before bringing it up on the other side.
I also quickly wrapped the tape around the outer portion of the head of the holder, piercing the notches with the tape.
I just slid the tape down lower on the next wrap around.
This covered the backside in a hurry. I'll show some other methods for concealing the underside of the holder later in this tutorial.
With the white all concealed, I'm ready to soak the bouquet holder in water treated with flower food.
