This fall centerpiece is also going to contain beautiful brown eucalyptus.  This adds length and a great deal of contrast.

I start with a longer stem inserted at a slight downward angle on the right side.

I do the same for the second, left hand side.

I cut some of the brown eucalyptus for shorter pieces to insert into the center.

As the stem is not wired, I add my own florist wire with a hook over the spot where the leaf meets the center of the stem.

A top view shows shorter pieces coming out from both sides of the centerpiece.
