These bright yellow unity candle flowers pop with color and are sure to hold everyone's attention as the bridal and groom light them after their wedding ceremony!
For the arrangement holding the pillar candle, you will need the following supplies and fresh flowers:
- 1 Oasis 6" Ring Holder
- 1 6" or 8" Clear Plate
- White Florist Clay
- 6" Pillar Candle
- 8 Yellow Tulips
- 3 stems White Lisianthus
- 3 stems White Miniature Carnations
- 2 stems White Spider Mums
- 1 branch Acacia
- 1 stem Naked Seeded Eucalyptus
- Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory
Attach the clear plate to the pillar candle holder with white florist clay. Attach the pillar candle to the plate with florist clay. Drop the ring over the place. Arrange flowers. Mist well with Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory and keep cool and away from sunlight until wedding day. It is advisable to keep tulips refrigerated if possible.
For the separate taper candle holders, you will need the following for each of the candlesticks:
- 1 15" White Taper Candle
- 1 Oasis Iglu Holder
- Green Waterproof Tape
- 3 Yellow Tulips
- 1 stem White Spider Pompons
- 2 stem White miniature Carnations
- 1/2 stem Acacia
- 2 stems White Lisianthus
- 1/2 stem Naked Seeded Eucalyptus
- White Florist Clay
- Crystal Clear Flower Food
- Disposable Lighter
Float soak the Iglus in water that has been treated with Crystal Clear Flower Food. Wrap the Oasis cage with additional waterproof tape. Many stems in a small holder can crumble the foam. Wrapping with waterproof tape can give the foam extra support. Don't insert and remove flowers. Try to have only one insertion.
After adding all the flowers, mist well with flower sealant. Keep refrigerated. Add taper candles AFTER delivery to the church, as traveling during delivery can knock over the arrangement and break the candles. Put lighter up near the flower to be easily found on the wedding day.
Always put an extra taper candle up near front in case one gets broken right before the ceremony.
