Create several more loops to tape into place under the rose head.
You can see that a mixture of straight lily grass blades and looped grass creates a unique design that compliments the rose beautifully.
I then placed a second loop on the opposite side.
Fold the grass tightly against the side of the flower and tape into place, taking care not to crease the top of the loop. Creasing breaks the fiber of the grass and won't retain the look of a rounded loop.
This type of design can be duplicated in your corsage and boutonniere work as well. You can see with an added bow this would make a lovely single flower corsage.
A third loop will go in the front of the focal flower.
