This lovely flower is called stock.  It has stemmed florets that are beautiful clusters and has a heavenly scent!

I cut off stock both in individual florets and in clusters of several blooms.  Make it interesting - have a variety!

Lay the toothpick against the slender stalk and tape as before with the hydrangeas.

You can cut off shorter sections to insert toothpicks into.

I literally pulled the individual blooms together and taped.  I then pushed a toothpick up into the bottom stem.
