You can see she already has the flowers cut and ready to insert into the bridal bouquet.  You will also often see her give flowers (especially the veronica) a "fresh" diagonal cut every time she inserts one into the bridal design.

She adds in the first of the focal flowers, which happens to be the blue standard rose.

Insert it deep into the exact center at the top of the bouquet holder.  Leave a little stem above the holder to add height.

Now we are ready to add some Veronica around the bottom of the bouquet.
