hanging christmas wreath
This lovely hanging Christmas wreath needs a flattened design, if intended to hang between and inner door and a storm door. Keep this in mind while adding the flowers and Christmas greenery.
Products and supplies needed to create this design:
- Oasis Design Ring
- 7 Standard Red Roses
- 7 Thistle Heads
- 2 stems of fresh Holly
- 16 sticks of Cinnamon
- Red Bullion Wire
- Red Wired Organza 2.5" Ribbon
- Variegated Leyland Cedar
- 2 stems Red Hypericum Berries
- Finishing Touch Flower Sealant
- Floralock Stem Adhesive.
After creating the hanging wreath, shake the can of Floralock thoroughly, then carefully insert the red nozzle between the flower heads and greens and squirt in short bursts. Don't overdo, or the glue can run over the flowers. This keeps the flowers firmly in place, despite constant opening and closing of doors.
The wreath can also be used as a table top decoration, turning the ribbon into a bow instead of a hanging support.
