I love using unusual greenery in corsage and boutonniere designs.  Unique shapes and color add as much interest and texture as fresh flowers do to the design.

Seeded eucalyptus is a particular favorite of mine, since both the leaves and the seeds add two unique elements.

The smokey green leaves have an elongated shape that compliments a corsage design well.

I glue the leaves on first as a base under the flowers.

The leaves will define the final length and width of the corsage size.

Be sure to give the time for the glue to set properly before adding more flowers to the design.
