Church wedding flowers should always have some pieces to drawn the eye to it's long lines.  Lily grass is broad and long.  It can add a lot of character to all centerpiece and floral designs.

I tend to group it in bunches for larger pieces or it gets lost in the piece.  Since only 5 blades of lily grass came in this sleeved bunch, I taped them all together for one massed piece.

I inserted it into the center of the design so it flows outward.

The grass is sturdy enough you can insert it by itself into the florist foam.

Other finer grasses (like Bear Grass) may need the support of a Cowee wooden pick.

You can see the dramatic flow the grass insertion makes in the front of the design.

Trail the lily grass directly over top of the aspidistra leaf on the bottom.
