As she selects each Veronica stem, she gives it a fresh cut with her floral knife.

She quickly inserts it into the bottom of the design, resting directly on top of the bouquet collar.

Note that she tends to cluster some of the Veronica a bit.

Smaller flowers have more impact if occasionally clustered in groups rather than just evenly scattered throughout the bouquet.

She turns the bouquet holder, inserting more veronica around the base.
