How to Make a Bridal Bouquet

Insert Leather Leaf Fern

As I start to make my bridal bouquet, I outline the basic shape with leather leaf fern.  Remember that the length of the outer greens define the final size of the bouquet.

Roses and other flowers will extend slightly beyond the leather leaf, so cut your fern lengths according to how big you want your finished bouquet to be.

I continue around the edges, cutting short fronds from the piece of leather.

Not every frond has to have a point on it.  Just keep it even and about the same length as you go around the perimeter of the design.

Once the outer leaves are in place, start filling in the center with more leather leaf fronds.
