Wire and Tape Method

Leather leaf fern is wonderfully versatile.  I generally recommend every designer buy two or three extra bunches of this inexpensive fern to "fill in" if needed anywhere - corsages, bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces or church decor.

The laterals separate easily and look well mixed in with other foliages.

Simply bend the wire, creating a "hook" that latches over the bottom laterals and tape as shown below.

The different varieties of foliage add a rich blend of texture and color to your corsage.
