Christmas Flower Centerpieces
Some of the most original flower designs can be inspired by a stroll through a discount or dollar store.
I found some lovely cylinder shaped boxes (meant to be used for Christmas gifts) and was intrigued by the thought of using them as a cover for a cylinder vase. The goal, however, would be to protect the underlying cardboard against water damage as the design is created.
Needed supplies:
- 1 round cylinder box covered in foil in a Christmas print
- 1 round glass cylinder vase that fits inside the box
- 1/4 - 1/3 brick Oasis Florist Foam
- Assorted Christmas greens; optional: Ming Fern Leather Leaf
- Florist Clay
- 2 Hydrangeas
- 2 Standard Carnations
- 3 - 4 stems Miniature Carnations
- 1 stem hypericum berries
- 2 -3 sprigs boxwood
- 2 - 3 40 mm Christmas ornaments
- 3 - 5 small Pine Cones
- Florist Wire
- Leafshine Polish
- Crowning Glory or Finishing Touch flower Sealant
